Dad, what do you want your daughter to be like as she grows from a little girl into a young woman? Do you want her to be strong in the Lord? Do you want her to be committed to her relationship with you? Do you want her to be faithful to the highest standards of purity in her mind, her emotions, and her body? Are you committed to maintaining these same standards for yourself, and helping her achieve these goals?
Well, we feel the same way. We want to see this dream become a reality for our daughters. Our goal with the Purity Ball of Midland is to celebrate and facilitate the shared commitment between fathers and daughters to a life of purity in the Lord. Perhaps you have not always been the best father in the world. This event is not about the past. Instead, we want to look to the future, as we commit ourselves to being the fathers our daughters want and need.
Through an annual banquet with wholesome entertainment, inspiring speakers, father/daughter dancing, and a formal dinner, we hope to create a strong, memorable tradition that will live on in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We want to celebrate father-daughter relationships, and our shared commitment with our daughters to being all God wants us to be.
