Because I recognize my own susceptibility to sin, and because I love my daughter unconditionally, I will always be willing to rescue her from difficult situations, saving questions for later. I will strive to communicate with her in a gentle and understanding way when she shares her soul with me.
Recognizing that God uses my authority over my daughter to protect her, I will give her guidance regarding relationships with men, including her dress, her conduct, and her choices. I will also support her efforts to maintain purity with my physical and emotional support.

Recognizing my father has special insight as a man himself, and that God protects me through his leadership, I will listen carefully to his advice about my relationships with men, and respond to his leadership until I am under the leadership of my husband.
